不但……而且…… (búdàn…érqiě…): "not only… but also"
不但……而且…… means "not only … but also …". When both clauses have the same subject, put the subject before 不但: 他不但会说中文，而且还会说日语. When the two clauses have different subjects, put 不但 at the start of the first clause: 不但学生喜欢他，而且老师也很喜欢他.
句型Patterns
