一……就…… (yī…jiù…): "as soon as" and "every time"
一 + Action 1 + 就 + Action 2 links two events that happen right after each other ("as soon as") or where the first always triggers the second ("every time / whenever"): 我一到家就给你打电话 "I'll call you as soon as I get home", 他一喝咖啡就睡不着 "Whenever he drinks coffee, he can't sleep".
