用法How to use 丢
丢 (diū) most commonly means "to lose" something — to have it go missing, often by carelessness. It is used as a plain verb, with the lost thing as subject (我的手机丢了) or object (我丢了手机), and 了 is normally needed to show the result. A very common pattern is 把 + thing + 丢了, e.g. 把钥匙丢了.
