用法How to use 动物
动物 means "animal" — a living creature that is not a plant; in everyday usage people are normally not called 动物. It is a general countable noun that can take measure words like 只 or 种, and it commonly appears in set phrases such as 动物园 (zoo) and 小动物 (little animal).
