用法How to use 半
半 means "half" and is used as a numeral before a measure word (半个苹果, 半个小时) or after a measure word/number to mean "and a half" (一个半小时, 三点半). It attaches directly to the measure word or quantity word, not directly to a noun. Typical patterns are 半 + measure word + noun and number + measure word + 半.
