用法How to use 双
双 is a measure word for things that naturally come in pairs, especially shoes, socks, gloves, and chopsticks. It is used in the pattern number/这/那/几 + 双 + noun, as in 一双鞋 or 这双袜子. Do not use it as a general word for “two”; use 两 for counting ordinary things.
