用法How to use 扫
扫 (sǎo) means “to sweep,” with common patterns like 扫地, 扫房间, and 把地扫干净. The reading sào occurs in words for a broom, such as 扫帚 and 扫把, not as the everyday verb. With a result complement such as 干净, the object can be placed before the verb with 把 (把地扫干净), or the sentence can be topic-comment (地扫干净了); a result complement cannot be separated from the verb by an object as in 扫了地干净.
