用法How to use 拉

拉 means “to pull”: to move something or someone toward you or along with you. It is a common transitive verb, so the thing or person being pulled comes after it, as in 拉门 or 拉他的手. It often appears with 一下, 着, or result complements like 开 and 不动.

常见错误Common mistakes

✓我拉开门。

Result complements like 开 come after the verb 拉, not after the object.
✗他拉我的手着。

✓他拉着我的手。

着 follows the verb directly, before the object.
