用法How to use 海洋
海洋 means "ocean" — the sea thought of as one big whole, and it is common in writing and in fixed phrases such as 海洋生物 (marine life) and 海洋环境 (the marine environment). It is a general, mass-like noun, so it is not used for a specific beach or for the water you swim in. In everyday location talk, use 海边 (seaside) or 海里 (in the sea) instead.
