用法How to use 班
班 is an everyday noun meaning a school class or group (我们班有二十个学生) and a work shift (上班, 下班, 早班). It is also a measure word, both for scheduled runs of public transport counted by departure time rather than by vehicle (下一班火车, 第一班, 末班车) and for groups of people (一班学生).
