用法How to use 结束
结束 means "to end" or "to finish" something. It is used for events, activities, and periods of time that come to a stop, and it can take an object directly, as in 结束工作 or 结束会议. It often appears with time words like 已经 or with 了, e.g. 会议结束了.

- 今天的课已经结束了。jīn tiān de kè yǐ jīng jié shù le.Today's class has already ended.
- 我们下午五点结束工作。wǒ men xià wǔ wǔ diǎn jié shù gōng zuò.We finish work at five in the afternoon.
