用法How to use 进行
进行 means "to carry out, conduct, or be under way," and is used with abstract two-syllable activities such as 会议、讨论、比赛、检查、研究. It usually appears as 进行 + activity noun, often in the pattern 对…进行… (carry out something on someone) or 正在进行 (be in progress). It is more formal than plain verbs and does not take everyday concrete actions.
