用法How to use 阅读
阅读 means "to read" written material such as books, articles or newspapers, and it is also the noun "reading". It is a fairly formal word used in writing, in class, and in reading-comprehension contexts; in casual speech people usually say 看书 or 读. It commonly takes an object like 文章、报纸、材料 or 书籍, and it can also stand alone as a noun (阅读很重要).

- 我每天睡觉前会阅读半小时。wǒ měi tiān shuì jiào qián huì yuè dú bàn xiǎo shí.I read for half an hour before bed every day.
- 老师让我们阅读这篇文章，然后回答问题。lǎo shī ràng wǒ men yuè dú zhè piān wén zhāng, rán hòu huí dá wèn tí.The teacher asked us to read this article and then answer the questions.
- 多阅读对提高写作能力很有帮助。duō yuè dú duì tí gāo xiě zuò néng lì hěn yǒu bāng zhù.Reading more really helps improve your writing.
