黄色 means the colour yellow; it can stand alone as a noun (喜欢黄色) or take 的 before a noun (黄色的花). Be careful: 黄色 also means “pornographic” in phrases like 黄色电影 or 黄色网站, so avoid that sense in polite conversation.
