用法How to use 鼓励
鼓励 most commonly means “to encourage”: one person gives another confidence or support to do something. The usual pattern is 鼓励 + someone + (to) do something, e.g. 鼓励我参加比赛. It can also be a noun meaning “encouragement,” as in 朋友的鼓励.
