用法How to use 了解
了解 means to understand or have a good knowledge of a person, place, situation, or subject. It is used as a verb and usually takes an object directly. Degree words like 很/更/不太 go before it, as in 很了解这个城市.

- 我很了解这个城市。wǒ hěn liǎo jiě zhè ge chéng shì.I know this city very well.
