用法How to use 哪
哪 is read nǎ for 'which' and normally comes before a measure word or noun (哪本书, 哪个人, 哪天); the colloquial variant něi also occurs before measure words. To ask 'where,' use 哪儿/哪里; 哪 alone does not mean 'where' before a verb. In rhetorical questions 哪 can mean 'how' (我哪知道), while the readings na (sentence-final particle) and né (as in 哪吒) are separate.
