用法How to use 小姐
小姐 means "young lady" or "Miss" and can be used to refer to or address a young woman. It normally follows a surname (王小姐) or a demonstrative phrase (这位小姐), rather than coming before the surname. In mainland China it can sound dated or be sensitive because of its slang sense, so learners should use it cautiously; with a surname or in clear formal contexts it is safer, and 女士 is often safer when addressing a woman you do not know.
